Ok, so I am the first to pose a question...

I was wondering what should I do with the poems she gave? Should I analyze them the way I see it? What if i'm wrong?
The thing is, that i'm not really good in analyzing poetry...

I'm worried.. help, please!

Another Question - Can I say " I believe" in this essay?

Try to remove the "I" from academic papers. Instead of "I believe" use "one can assume that..." or "one could deduce..." or different variations of that.

As for the poems, you need to analyze them using the tools we've learned during the semester - the way we analyzed in class. Poetry is something subjective and it's only natural we'll each take something different from it. So don't worry too much - support your analysis with quotes from the poem and explain coherently why you think so and so, and you should be fine.

Try to stick to the Buber quote and make your way from there. Analyze the poems with that quote in mind. Look for "the other" in the poem, think of what the other represents to the speaker, and how it all relates to Buber's point (or doesn't relate to Buber's point).

No stress! You'll do fine! I've finished my work, so if you want me to proof-read your exam before you hand it in to make sure grammar, spelling and phrasing sound good, let me know.
