OFFLINE | Let's face it – winter running is difficult. The days go shorter, the temperatures lower. Hibernating inside with a good drink watching TV seems a heck of a lot better than throwing on 100's layers of clothing to train. There are positives to running when the temperature is low, and there is why:
You can run faster and go further when it's cold, you can fight the winter weight gains and gym boredom by winter running.
And remember we are doing it for a good cause, joining Gyle Harriers you'll make a real difference to people living with cancer. There is a small monthly suggested donation £6 (or £1.5 every time you come run with us). Every penny is going towards Macmillan Cancer Support.
For more details, health and performance assessment please contact Lillian.
We Gyle Harriers want you to come and join us on Monday 29th November at 7pm just outside The Gyle Shopping Centre. |
