OFFLINE | I have 2 Rockford P2D2-12 Subwoofers and 4 Rockford Prime R500.1 Amplifiers. I have a Slotted Port enclosure with 2.5 Cu.Ft. per sub of space. I want to run 2 R500.1 to each P2D2-12(one to each voice coil). I was told that this would never work because the power output for each amp is different. Will this be a problem or can I still run this setup? |

OFFLINE | It can be done, but each amp should be dialed in (adjusted) using an oscilloscope after everything is installed.
I don't know if it'd really matter though since just one of those amps is rated at twice the power the P2D2-12's are. They may not last for more than 10 minutes with 2 amps on each sub. |
