Other than having a group of people you can kinda depend on what other purposes does DMO have in store for the guild?

People to talk to...making friends...easy access to people who want to buy or sell items...

You do know interaction with other humans is the whole point of MMOs, right?

Look kid dont be a smart-aleck... the resons you gave arent what I am talking about, if youd paid attention in English youd know that. In other games being in a guild has advantages like guild powers, guild house where you can get things extra cheap or added xp for a high ranking guild. DMO has nothing and for 500m-1T I hardly think its worth it. By the way kid no need to troll the forums if you cant answer the question just move on. Because "having a group of people..." kinda covers all the reasons you gave.

Doesn't seem to me like there are any other specials/advantages by being in a guild than what has already been said. It's just there to be there so people don't complain about not being able to create a guild with friends and so on...

Well it is kinda sad that people exploit the guild system to extort money from other players. Pretty much you are paying an entry fee to be branded, thats it! Hopefully that will change in the future.
