This is the most frequent question we get. The answer is quite simple: you have performances that expired.

For the cycle ending the 14th of each month, only last 14 days of performances are included in the points formula. Anything older than that expires. For cycles ending the 30th of each month, it is 16 days of performances, and for cycles ending the 31st of each month, it is 17 days of performances.

So, imagine you performed from 9AM-10AM every day the 1st through the 14th of the month. On the 15th of the month, from 9AM-10AM you would start to see your points go down because those performances would be expiring as they become older than 14 days (exactly, down to the minute). On the 16th of the month, from 9AM-10AM you would see your points go down again, etc. etc.

Hence, while you are performing, you can see your points go down as performances expire.

We can send you a performance history report that will show exactly when your performances expire. Just email support@thestage.tv and ask for the performance history report.

The alternative to this is to reset everyone's scores to zero at the start of each cycle. But then, no one would be on the leaderboard at the beginning, and the leaderboard would be very small until a full week into the cycle, and performers would lose their visibility. However, it would not change the end result at all.

Please email questions to support@thestage.tv.
