I have a pair of p2d4-12s that I got for Christmas. The problem is I have a P400 mono-block. I want to get a bigger amp to power these. Whats the biggest I can get for these without overdoing it? I was looking at the T600.2, I figured a 600 watt Punch amp would usually give me closer to 700-730 watt actual rating. What do you guys think? And while I have your attention what subs would work best with the 400.1 that I already have? Thanks in advance!

For a pair of P2D4-12's I would recommend the P700-1BD, plenty of power at 1 ohm to run those.

I agree with you on a T500-1BDCP, but not sure about spending all that money on a T1000-1BDCP to run a 4 ohm load unless he is getting a killer deal on it.

I got a T500-1bd 2009 version amp and the 1 version older P2D4-12 2009 two subs. Might be 2007 or 2008. Had them since around May 2009 or 2010. I can't remember exactly, but not the recent version. They hit really good with the combination of the amp and subs. I did use a jvc stereo until it went out on me, then had to go back to my sony xplod stereo. Funny thing is sony stereo is more bass than the jvc. Sony sounds better. I think Sony is worse. No clue why.

I liked these subs and when I got the amp I was in love. Pushed to the limits on both adjusted bass, gain, hz, on stereo and amp and nothing happen to the subs or amp. So I recommend this amp of course mine is no more so the CP one. If I was to upgrade I am staying with Rockford. I won't be in Comps. So this is good enough for driving around. Loud when not driving and just sitting somewhere.
