Since we're beginning again with Just Scopists, I thought it would be beneficial if we would simply
identify where we live, a little about ourselves and where or how we came in to scoping.

I am Devon Roberts, and my website is www.joyfulscoping.com.
I live in Iowa and have pretty much always lived in the Midwest.
My daughter (21 yrs old) attends Drake University in Des Moines while my son (18 yrs old) is
beginning is training to continue with the plumbing company he works for this fall.  His training
is for HVAC.

Because I live with a chronic pain situation, I came in to scoping in 2006 and love the work that we do.  
After struggling to become successful in this field, I felt there was a great opportunity to develop a more comprehensive scoping training which began in May 2008.  The whole process has been challenging, but I do feel that it is very worthwhile.
So now Scoping Made Affordable (SMA) has been training scopists for over three years, typically has around
50 students at a time and is best known for the Scoping Intern Program (SIP).

I look forward to hearing and learning about the rest of you now.

I am Jenni Bosh.  I have lived here in Hermann, Mo. for the past 4 years, before that I lived in Toledo, Oh. where I was born, raised and lived all my life.
I have 3 grown sons and 1 grown step-son and 2 grown step-daughters, I also have 9 grandchildren (5 boys and 4 girls.)
I started scoping and proofreading about 3 years ago when my step-daughter who is a court reporter ask if I could help her out, I loved it and took some scoping classes, the classes I took didn't seem to satisfy what I needed and a few people told me to check Devon's classes out, I have learned so much from her that I didn't learn from my other classes.  During tax season I am a tax preparer,which along with scoping I really enjoy.

Hello Scopists!
I am a scoping hopeful with two children, ages three and two. My husband is in new construction so we currenlty move at least once a year. My education is primarily allied health and I also have a strong operations background.

I have really enjoyed the program so far! I am grateful for the opportunity to get to know everyone better and hopefully glean from seasoned scopists.
