If you were to pack up and leave where you currently live and moved to some other state, what would you miss the most about where you currently live, and what wouldn’t you miss at all?

I would miss the long country roads especially in the Fall because I love aimless car rides. But I wouldn’t miss the complete lack of entertainment here.

I left my cabin a couple of years ago and moved to Wyoming.

What did I miss the most-  my friends!!!!!

What did I move the least.... the isolation.

I moved back!

I'd miss my family & friends the most. Then all the things we love to do here. I've lived in this area all my life with the exception of 13 months in Florida & 6 months in Illinois when my kids were young. What I wouldn't miss? All our tornadoes, the humidity in the summers.

I move here from TN and will always be a Tennessean at heart.

So once I moved to Arkansas for a job, thinking it'd be familiar. I missed EVERYTHING about this place ... the sunny days, the beach, the water, something to do all the time, the culture ... everything.

I moved back after a year.

i would miss all the fresh fruit and vegetables that are available in the summer and being able to be in the mountains or at the beach in a couple of hours

I wouldn't miss having to drive 40 minutes to experience anything of value....

I'd miss the accessibility of catching a train or bus to get around.  Walking down the street to the local grocery store.  Living in the city has many advantages that I'd truly miss.

What I wouldn't miss.... the damn teenagers and grown men that stay out on the steps drinking all night during the warmer months and talking so loud it's as if they're in the apartment with me.

I do pick up and move across the country at least twice a year.

It's always the people I miss the most.

What I miss the least is usually something at odds at what was the best reason for being there.  Hmm...examples...when I was at a ski resort the thing I miss the least is shoveling in the freezing cold.  Or being at a remote lodge and least thing you miss is the isolation...

I've lived in two states intermittently throughout my life; Texas and California. Summers were spent in California with my dad and the school years were spent in Texas with my mom and then I moved to California for college.

I missed the mountains and entertainment in California.
I did not miss the traffic.

I missed the good manners in Texas.
I did not miss the heat.
