 OFFLINE | Hi,
My name is Lucy and my little girl is Scarlett. Scarlett was born at 34wks, so not too early, but early enough to cause some heartache for my husband and I. We were very lucky as she was and is still very healthy :-) and at nearly 6 months you would never guess that she was too eager to join our family to go full term. I am though alittle worried about her development eg. sitting, crawling. If there are other mummies that have had a prem baby of about the same timing I would love to hear about the general time frame for development. I have been given contradictory advise from her pediatrician, child health nurse, prem baby/ mother group and my own mother.

My boys wanted to stay in past the 38 week mark so unfortunatly i cant personally relate to you  . I do have a friend whos son was born at 36 weeks (still abit later than your little girl) & he is crawling now at 8 months but still not sitting on his own. I hope you can get some answers here, if you cant get any in the forum i'd be happy to post a link to this topic on the Mummy Chat wall so more people can see it |
