[SIZE=7]Today there are many churches all teaching different doctrines, all claiming to teach the truth according to the Bible. How can we know for certain what is truth and what are the truths for today?

Truth is not a lie, weather it is an intentional lie or not, relaying a false teaching, is a lie even though the speaker believes it to be true.


The Bible is true, it is God's word, and God cannot tell a lie.  Satan can because he is the father of lies. Take for instance Eden....Get your Bible, I'm using King James  Genesis 2:5  There was not a man to till the ground.
Genesis 2:7 God formed Adam, verse 8 God planted Eden, and then it names the rivers that were there. Look at verse 15, God put Adam in the garden to keep it.   V. 17  instructs Adam don't eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Adam names the beasts, cattle,fowl, beast of the field....Adam didn't have any help. Then in verse 22 God made Eve.    Adam was given the instructions first....He probably added don't even touch it when he told Eve not to eat of it.   People read scripture biased due to the way they were taught as children.  And there are more,  but These discrepancies won't get you to heaven or keep you out.  But a lie is a lie.


Therefore, read and study, prayerfully. Paying attention to the details, and the order of things, don't just say I know this! because there is always something to learn from the Bible.
