 OFFLINE | I recently purchesed RF t1693's and need an amp, i know what size but the RF amps are a little out of my price range. Is Hifonics good? |

OFFLINE | Anythign RF is pretty much worth it. And remember, even if your speakers are rated at 100 watts RMS, they will still sound loud and amazing even on 25-50 watts RMS. Keep that in mind, you dont always need full power to get you're money's worth out the speakers.

OFFLINE | bingo sorta. any speaker can and will play below rms just fine. the reason people run into problems is when they try to push their equipment further then its meant to be... if ur amp makes 50w rms and u get to that point cleanly you can and will be able to make it "louder" but that's when u get to blowing equipment |

OFFLINE | hifonics is bad but its okay for sub amps if your on a really tight budget. you can get quality amps for good prices on craigslist or ebay if you get lucky. JL slash/hd amps are WONDERFUL with their regulated power supplies for full range/comps and subs aswell. rockford also makes great class AB amps which are wonderful for speakers.
