Well, you want to have as much available land on your property as possible. Try not to add any objects that would otherwise get in the way of a perfect plow. On that note, plow as many fields as possible. You only get 1EXP per field that you plow, but it stacks up quick. Plant tons of raspberries. Their harvest time is only two hours, allowing you to plow and harvest up to several times in a twenty-four hour period. You'll also earn 1EXP per seed that you plant. Accompanied by the amount of plow and harvest opportunities you can obtain in one day.

Obtain as many neighbors as possible. Doing side jobs for them can earn you up to 5EXP per job, and up to twenty coins. You can only work at a friend's farm once a day. The more friends you have, the more chances you have to make some extra experience and coin. Expand your farm, as well. Whenever you have the coin, you can expand your farm even farther. Allowing you to plant more crops that you're able to harvest in less than a day. The amount of experience and coin earned between expanding your farm, harvesting, plowing and doing side jobs foe neighbors will definitely help you.
