OFFLINE | What's your setup like in your home "studio" (quotes for this who don't really have one.)
Essentially, what programs do you use (VSTs, Daw of choice, etc), equipment (speakers, headphones, interfaces, keyboards, etc.), and lastly, what materials do you use to learn (books, articles, links, tutorials, etc.)?
I'll start, My setup consists of:
Hardware
Macbook Pro (15.4", 2.8 GHz, 8 GBs RAM, 500 GB Hard Internal Hard Drive, 24" Television/Monitor)
2 1TB External Hard Drives
Komplete 6 Audio Interface
Dr. Dre Beatz Headphones
Surround Sound Speakers (Boston Acoustics)
M-Audio Axiom Pro 49 Keyboard
Software
Logic Studio (Main Daw)
Garageband (Just for ideas and when I'm on the go)
FL Studio
Ableton Live 8
Native Instruments Komplete 8 (KONTAKT!!!)
Requiem Pro
Drums of War 2
Crystal
(Soon) Cubase
Learning Materials
Kontakt Tutorials (I posted these in the group)
Logic Studio Tutorials (including videos and books)
A host of books and websites (Music Theory for the Computer Musician *HIGHLY Recommended*, Piano books, Drum technique books. etc.)
That's just me, I'm hoping to upgrade a few things to make this more complete.
