As much as GameZen does, I know that there are more things that people are going to wish it could do. Some things I know about, as I’ve struggled with decisions on whether or not to include them, and there are surely many more things that I haven’t thought of.

The need for some features is obvious, such as adding more systems beyond the starting six. In that case, the only question is which ones to add first. Most likely I would work backward through past generations, starting with the PS2, Xbox and GameCube and onward from there.

The need for other features is less clear. Should GameZen list downloadable games? Should it have a barcode scanner? I’ve started seed topics with these questions where I present my view, and hopefully others will chime in with theirs.

And in some cases, I’m unsure about some features that are already present, such as the left column toggle buttons in the game lists, or the selection of sites that the Search Companion leads you to.

As for other new features, the first thing I look at is whether the feature would add value to GameZen without making it more complicated.

Ultimately, the addition of more features depends how well GameZen is received, which of course in a practical sense means how many people buy it.

So if you want more, tell your friends, tell your enemies and review GameZen nicely on the App Store!
