PRESUMPTION
The photograph shows what at the first glance would appear as a road contesti between a police Lamborghini Gallardo and Pagani Zonda somewhere off-coast South Italy and towards the Sabian Apennines.
FLORA
The environment and plants did appear unfamiliar at first, but what really betrayed our vision was the inscription on the police car. It says “Police” and is therefore written in English. Now our curiosity stirred towards finding out that a certain county in Iowa, U.S.A. has invested in a Lamborghini Diablo. That would be the only police Lamborghini patrolling the mountain roads of the U.S.A.
SWEEPING UNDER THE CARPET
How does assumption work? It sweeps the obvious and perceptible under the carpet. What is obvious in the photograph is the police inscription in English. Well, assumption defends itself, it may well be that the Italian wrote said inscription in English for the sake of international understandability. The color of the car was somehow unfamiliar. The profile was mistaken for another make.
THE CONTEST
At first it appeared that the Lamborghini had in fact some extra advantageii over the Pagani Zonda, as the Italian police Lamborghini packs sophisticated electronics as to be envied by Batman1 himself. Providing the context is set in the Templar area2, the Lamborghini would have at least some psychological advantage over the Pagani Zonda. The Pagani Zonda Depending on the drivers, the Pagani Zonda would of course leave the Lamborghini well behind.
ASSUMPTION
Assumption was based on what was already known: it had to be an Italian police car. That it did not look like an azure Gallardo at all did not matter for assumption to take place. The mountain area and flora looked definitely unfamiliar and hardly Mediterranean at all, but then the context might have taken place in the Apennines as well. The murky Apennines look much like the Alps and a snapshot of a mountain village can be easily mistaken for Switzerland. Still, a true local would hardly get fooled at all! Therefore there was much assumption in first perception, where perception should not based on sumptuous data bases of the past. Yoda would admonish not to assume, as default ego clouds true mind.
TRUE MINDiii
Default ego is the mind of this world: it clouds judgment which advantageously comes only from a clear mind. The clear mind has been compared to a mirror. Within the RTRRT body of self-initiation treatises, true mind has been called the womb of Brahma.

APPLICATION
It is not hard to apply the above article to Zen, RTRRT or even astrologyiv, as one e.g. naively presumes that the planets and constellations are there where they are not at all and probably never were or will be: such is the nature of assumption that stems from default ego. In Zen, assumption is called the lesser mind; while in RTRRT initiation, the aviary of attributions varies from default ego to devil's install.
