• Weber County Home Education was begun on Yahoo! Groups in 2005 http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Webercountyhomeeducation/conversations/messages/1
• Most of us now just connect on Facebook. We have monthly parent support meetings at the home of one of the members. My kids and I are in the Weber County Home Ed Choir.
• Members post field trips, curriculum sales, advice, and questions. We support one another in every way we can. It is very nice to have the group.

• My role: I am the person who started the Facebook group. Wrylon Jones started the Yahoo Group. It is possible the group existed even before that, but I don't know the history of the group.
  
  The Value I receive from the group is far-reaching. I love to come on and check Facebook Weber County Home Ed, because it lifts my spirits. When I need help, it comes quickly. When others need it, I love to give it. The monthly support meetings are extremely nice. It is nice to be able to talk to others who homeschool.
  
  Our group is not "LDS," but for everyone. We have Box Elder, Weber, Morgan and Davis residents in the group. Most are Weber County residents.
