Using smilies in Facebook Forums is easier now. All you need to do is click the smiley. Just click the smiley you like to use and say Okay

note: it is also possible to post smiley without clicking the button by simply typing the smiley you want.

; )  (without the space) will give

warning: this will also work in the middle of a sentence/word even when you don't want it to.

I'm sure it is incredibly rare that this would be an issue but Alan, I do ask if you can change the regular expresssion to fix this? I have chat software that does the same thing and there are many times that I can't read what it says because symbols are converted to pictures. The most common problem there was with 8) but thankfully you don't have that as a smiley (yet) but I can imagine having issues with and
