 OFFLINE | Using Custom Domain with Windows Azure Hosted Service
Just want to share with all.
I deployed the Hello World app that comes with the Windows Azure SDK samples. The URL of my Hello World Web app provided by Windows Azure was:
amir.cloudapp.net
After that I went to dns.cloudapp.net and created CNAME that points to the above URL:
a.me.my –> amir.cloudapp.net
For more clearer instruction visit:
dns.cloudapp.net/goto/howto
Since Idzuan having url shortener and the url address is shorturl.cloudapp.net/codes (quite long). He can use me.my (dns.cloudapp.net) to make it more shorter. I have tried to create a cname u.me.my to point at shorturl.cloudapp.net (proof of concept only). Yeay its working, just try u.me.my/google (I created just now shorturl.cloudapp.net/google). Anything you create at shorturl.cloudapp.net can be replaced with u.me.my ....
For those, who had a domain can point it to azure hosted service.

 OFFLINE | Can you explain how to configure blob usage. I still cannot do this. Just give some example (php code) on how to read and write some files.
Thanks. |

 OFFLINE | Hi,
Below is an example code to read/write on Windows azure blob. Hope will help you.
Code:
getBlob('dataset', 'Data.xml', $localpath);
// Write file example.txt to container called dataset
$localpath = getcwd() . '\example.txt';
$result = $client->putBlob('dataset', 'example.txt', $localpath);
?>
