Main updates:
1) HP is now drastically raised. Overall, the Player gains 5x more health, aliens 1.25x, alien bosses 5x, and other allies 2.5x. This means that bosses have much more HP now, because of their multipliers. In effect, battles on each floor lasts much longer, but you survive more easily.
2) 3 new skillbooks, 4 new weapons and 5 new floors are released! (Including an awesome boss)
3) Weapon sacrificing is introduced: Currently, wooden stick must be sacrificed for a warhammer, while wooden staff must be sacrificed for either a fire or ice staff. This means that you can only have either one of the two staves.

Less important changes:
1) Your King is much more stupid now; sometimes he won't run away even though aliens are swarming him. This is in line with the HP Increase Update. This change is also fueled by the fact that you are SUPPOSED to protect your king.
2) Base movement speed is increased.
3) Terrain friction (yes, such thing exists) is lesser. Overall, every being moves much faster now.
4) Allies can detect the size of their opponent and hit at an appropriate range.
5) The activation of a special is altered to become time-based instead of number-of-weapon-attacks based. An indication is also shown at the display menu.
6) Increase of a difficulty means an +2 in BOTH allies' and aliens' levels now.
7) Reduced the damage penalty for daggers.
