OFFLINE | Upcoming films that you're interested in seeing, or are at least mildly intrigued by...
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)
The David Fincher version coming out this December. Saw the teaser when I went to watch X-Men:First Class and was immediately hyped. It's just a random series of images from the movie, along with Trent Reznor's remix of Immigrant Song, but it looks amazing.

OFFLINE | Fincher's version will be better than the original, at least he can do more than simply 'shoot' drama.
Idk, I don't currently look forward to anything in particular, nowadays I'm mostly just watching old films I haven't seen. Waiting for a decent 13 Assassins sub to become available: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1436045/ |

 OFFLINE | A Dangerous Method
Directed by David Cronenberg and starring Viggo Mortensen, Michael Fassbender, Keira Knightley and Vincent Cassel.
Finally, a film about Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud being perverts.

I wouldn't really call the Swedish film the "original"... they're just two films adapted from the same book imo.

OFFLINE | Funny, I have never thought about it that way, because it always use to call the first film "the original" when it already exist a predecessor. The first one is the original and the others are successor so to speak and for some reason seems people almost always prefer the first recording, no matter what the story is based upon - a book or a manuscript.
I think about all the Japanese horror movies that has been remade.
It will be fun to watch this version, though. I don't understand though, why they choosed to do the filming in Sweden. They should have done a version which was adapted to American circumstances instead. It gives more credibility in a way...imo...
