apparently after many losses (including other fellow alliance members) of AT's vs Camps i set aabout an experiment. Without going into details, bottom line is AT's are considered Air troops and not to be mixed with the ground troop: LBM. doing so your LBM survives but you loose over 50% +. So for testing I rechecked using only 50 porters and there was a zero loss. So I suggest the following:

when using LBM as your attack troop vs camps, use porters to carry the loot (you will need more but you wont loose them)
when using dragons and other air troops stick with AT's.
