Hey, guys.
Now, I know you guys are Korean based, so a few translation niggles are assumed in the process of translating the game, but I'm really wishing the translation could be better.

But instead of just moping about it, I'd like to actually help out properly.
I'd like to offer my services in proofreading the game text, and making the game more understandable for players. Free of charge. I'm sure a few other people would be also happy to help in this endeavor.

The added quality would put DMO above the rank and file of the "Typical" English translated K-MMO, and help make the game much more popular, so it's a win-win situation for DMO and Joymax if you accept.

Thankyou for your consideration.

I hope the DMO team at least reads this.. it's so dissapointing seeing the machine translation the game's gone through.

Hey, Aramis.

I'd like to start by saying I am NOT a Joymax employee or representative. I am a player just like you, however I do keep in touch with the community and Joymax's communications. From what I understand, Joymax keeps their teams very tightly together and very rarely have players offer their assistance, even if free-of-charge. Our responsibility as players is to work on giving suggestions for the game, and supporting the game through financial means if we feel right to do so. It's Joymax's responsibility to maintain the game, including the translations. While I'm sure they would highly appreciate the offer, there are somethings they just cannot do. However it's good to see players offer themselves to benefit the game. If you run into anything that should be improved just speak your thoughts to the community and they may be heard. The translations from what I understand are being worked on slowly, but the game's mechanics are being focused on right now to keep the game stable. As long as the game's text is clear enough to understand, than there is no need for the translations to be perfected ASAP. If there are any translations you come across that are incorrect than let the community know and eventually Joymax will discover it and do their part. ^^

Your fellow Player,
Matt

I agree the translations are a bit...hard to understand at times, but maybe you could offer better translations and then post them with their respected NPC or quest number?

I've never encountered a translation yet that I couldn't decipher. Their English is fine; it's probably your's that is lacking.

Aramis, if you find any mistranslations in the game, please do forward it to us so we can tell the team about it.

Thank you for your offer.

Then you either dont bother reading any text, or your English ain't as great as you think. It has quite a bit of errors, but you can still understand it. Thats understandable, no one's perfect and i dont cry about some errors left and right. However, saying its fine isnt exactly the right word.

One error, that girl Kirstie Damon have the title Marcus Damon brother, would be great if she was his sister.
