OFFLINE | Dates of visa validity cannot be manually changed, i.e. if the visa is printed on February 1st it is valid from Feb 1st to April 30.
It is up to the Consular Officer to allow successful applicants to bring his/ her passport a few months after the initial interview to have his/ her visa printed without additional interview.
Please be aware, a visa does not guarantee entry to the U.S. Additionally, the visa expiration date shown on your visa does not reflect how long you are authorized to stay within the U.S. Entry and the length of authorized stay within the U.S. are determined by the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officer at the port-of-entry each time you travel. However you may enter U.S. even on the last day of visa validity.

OFFLINE | It is up to CBP officer to determine duration of your stay. For tourist visas, the duration of stay will conform to your statement to the Consular Officer during the visa interview. For student visas, the duration of stay is based on the I-20 form. For workers – according to the H1B petition. |

On your website I found that Kyrgyz citizens can apply only for 3 months single entry visa. At the moment I'm holding B2, 1 year multy entry visa, which is going to expire in August. May I apply for B2, 1 year M visa in Bishkek, if I'm a kyrgyz passport holder?
Little bit confused about this rule...
