the first thing is they do hurt but only for a couple of secs your first shot will be your worst after that they stop hurting. paintball has a lot of myths in it so try not to relive to much what people say. the other thing paintball has a lot of hype in. like say their was a barrel that can make you paintballs invsable so no one can see it some people may think this is true and buy it and found out that it dosent. if you want know more just leave a post thanks |

OFFLINE | Paintballs can hurt but usually don't because your adrenalin is going. I'm not going to say that the worst is just a little sting for a few seconds. You can get shot in some sensitive areas, one area is the neck. Fortunately for me I have not been shot in the neck since I started playing over 10 years ago but I also don't stick my neck out. You can get neck protectors to greatly soften the shot though so it is not that bad. Another place is the inner thigh, not a common spot to get shot but long thick pants help a lot.
There is a lot of hype like the longer the barrel the more accurate you will be, that maybe true for real guns but not for paintball. Find a knowledgeable person and ask before you buy upgrades and such, talk to people at the field, ask them what they use and why. Most players are more than happy to help out new players including loaning out personal gear for you to try.

I have played this sport for over 10 years so if you have any questions, feel free to ask. i been playing for the same as you been i was very new to paintball now i know alot about it and played with people who had very good knowledge about paintball |
