OFFLINE | There's no reason to get hung up on labels. Christianism sounds funny, but I'm sure the word Hinduism sounds funny for people born in India. |

I doubt it. Hinduism is the correct term for the religion. Christianity is the correct term for 'Christianism' |

OFFLINE | Yes. Christian's religion is called Christianity.
With "ism", there are Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism, and maybe a few more |

Nein. In India,"Hinduism" is called Sanatana Dharma, or the "Eternal law/truth/righteousness/whatever else." Brits coined the term "Hindu" and subsequently "Hinduism." |

I meant in the English language. I'm sure Christianity is not called Christianity in the Hindu language. |

OFFLINE | Oh by the way if anybody doesn't knows, "India" is a name given by Britishers. India's actually name is Bharat, and Hindustan (from which Hinduism generated). |

OFFLINE | The problem I have with the term Christian is it is so broad now, it can mean any thing from Catholic to Mormon to Jehovah witness to baptist, so I just say I'm a bible believer. |
