So after listening to the community and searching for the right direction, this new Forum was born.  As you can tell it is extremely integrated into facebook, so much so that you need to be on facebook.  This will **** a few people off but obviously the majority wins in a situation like this.

The positives of being on FB is you can share the information faster, secure login, you can see people's profiles, keeps spamming to a minimum.  The negatives are that you must be on FB, some people won't like this, and the forum's dependance on FB (Which isn't that bad, I could think of worse).  Another setback is that this forum is fairly rigid when it comes to customization.  If it works well over the next few months we will upgrade!

Your post will not be seen by others until they are either "shared" or "liked".  Anyone can view the forum but you need to know where it is first.  This is what I personally like least about this setup but it is the direction things are moving in.

I gotta admit, I'm super impressed. the old forum looks like rubbish compared to this! SWEEEETSTUFFBRAH!
As I said on the other one, I'm stoked to see where this goes.

The facebook integration is great!  Do you know if there's any way to get notifications for topic replies, new topics, etc.?  Haven't been able to figure it out.

I am not sure, there are very few options with this forum style, I'll let you know what I figure out
