I'll start this off! Hmmmm I stayed in midtown in 2009 and decided to walk down to the ferry, I had a chest infection had not run for two weeks and needed to find out if I could! It's a looooooong way! Did I learn my lesson for 2009? Hmm no I did it again left myself no time to stretch and ended up with injury by mile 14! DO USE THE PUBLIC TRANSPORT PROVIDED!! |

OFFLINE | Do read the handbook advice from the NYRR is sound advice and all relevant especially taking clothes to the start, it is more than cold on the island, at the mouth of the north Atlantic ocean it can be bitterly cold! |
