I always use ice cubes to cool down and rehydrate my oatmeal before eating it. 4 cubes always gets it perfect.

What unusual things do you do that make your life easier?

I don't do anything unusual. I'm the most normal person I know!

People tell me that the way I keep a garden, put up my own preserves and do my own cooking from scratch that everything I do is unusual.

The toilet paper MUST come over the top, and not from behind! I even change it at other people's houses.

I brush my teeth and shave my face in the shower.
I always put on my left sock, left boot first, then right sock, right boot.
If someone sips out of my cup, it's theirs. I WILL pour myself a new one.

Everything in my closet is arranged by type clothing (slacks by color, long sleeve dress shirts, short sleeve dress shirts, etc) and hangers are spaced evenly.  If I remove a shirt, etc. the hangers are realigned so that they are evenly spaced.

Is it unusual to dream in color?  How about dreaming in numbers?

At first I thought you were asking me if I was synthetic...I have never heard of synesthetic before.  So, I googled it.
Number form synesthesia...hmmm....maybe so. When I'm stressed and trying to fall asleep, the numbers just drive me crazy!

You're an arsty-farsty type.  A number of artists ... folks like Kandinsky and Miles Davis were synesthetic.

And this guy ... Daniel Tammet.  Incredible what it does for him (it is thought there is a strong link between autism is tied to synesthesia).

A *REALLY* fantastic set of videos.

Ron I am with you on the TP..It has to be over the top. I have changed it at friends homes too.

My quirks are right sock left sock, right shoe left shoe..

If Im walking up or down stairs, my feet to steps need to be even.. right, left right left..
In the shower if any part of my body touches a wall or the shower curtain, I have to wash it again right away..
walking on sidewalks, if Im alone, I have to even out the steps over the cracks.. again.. right left right left.
and if I am doing something and I need to turn around for a reason, If I turn back I have to do it in the opposite of the way I turned, If  I turn right, then I turn back left.  I have a thing for symmetry I guess.

If I eat Ramen noodles, they have to be dry. I hate soupy Ramen. To make it easier on me, I leave the entire Ramen block together while boiling and pick the entire block up with a fork to put in my bowl that already has the seasoning and then mix. It makes life easier.

Whenever I have Hot Pockets or Pot Pies for dinner, after I've nuked them, I cut them up and put them in the fridge for 6 minutes to cool them back off again.
