Ya know, last night at the bar a few chick friends of mine at differant times asked me to hold their drink while they went outside to smoke. One of them told me she's been Ruffied twice since May when the ban took affect here because you can't take your drink out with you.

I wonder if anyone has bothered doing a study to see if there is a correlation between an increase in date **** and the smoking bans. Because you know, having the choice to work at/patronize a smoking establishment is so much more evil than not having a choice in whether or not you have sex with someone.

Yeah, I thought so too. I was a bit annoyed at first (like, **** put your drink on the shelf like everyone else annoyed) by having to watch them until she asked me to hold her drink and told me why. I hadn't even thought of **** like that going down, thankfully I always just slam down the rest of my drink before I go out for a smoke.

**** that! You could always finish their drinks for them.. that's what I would do.

Around here they have found loopholes in the smoking law.  As long as one of the walls has air circulation, it is not technically an enclosed area.  There are a few bars close to my house that have these "walls" that are basically like screen doors.  You can smoke anywhere you want inside the bar.     And ya know what?  It is just like the bars used to be, if you don't like the smoke, don't come to the **** bar.

Agreed wholeheartedly with Chris. While I may no longer smoke cigs for I gave them up for health reasons still, I find that having a beer (especially at a bar) w/o a cig feels 'incomplete'. I mean, the two always went together like coffee and a danish. As a matter of fact I've always seen a cig and a beer as one and the same rather than two separate items since they both complement each other. Having said that, I think it's bullshit that they established a smoking ban in bars for that's like banning reading in a **** library!

What really perplexes me about this too is that the tobacco companies are practically in all the politicians pockets by way of all the donations they give them for campaigns and such that it makes no sense at all as to why cigarettes would now become such an outlaw thing. You'd think they would do the opposite and try to get as many people hooked on the damn things and even going so far as to market cigs to teenagers, lol.

Rutgers which is in my neck of the woods wants to ban cigarettes completely. The only place you will be able to smoke them is in your personal vehicle. I don't smoke, but seriously things are a bit out of control with these smoking bans.

So, I've been trying to quit for a couple weeks now, only to cave today and buy a pack.

And I've been pretty damn successful up until now, and now when I smoke these things, it isn't even that satisfying.
