Staff Pick-- " This sweet and touching wordless book will delight story lovers of all ages. A little clown falls off a circus wagon and lands in a farmer's field. The farmer reluctantly takes the little clown into his house and the two stare at each other with trepidation about what to do. As they spend the day together, they both learn from each other and become friends. When the circus train comes back to get the clown you are happy and at the same time a little sad for the farmer until we see the final image with a new companion following! The illustrations are a delight as well. Such a warm, tender story."
