Oh that's beautiful, Barb.   I see what Denise is saying, especially if the relationship ends badly.  If you're the type of person who can just let things go and know that people come and go and not all relationship are forever ... but rather remember the beauty of it for the time it was, then it would be okay.  Me ?  I'd have my kids or Mom and Dad ... or my first husband who passed ... a current love or relationship ?   More than likely not, but who knows.    I'm not a big time tat person on me BUT I've recently considered one on my foot ... even had one designed ... maybe this summer.   I have seen many on others that I love especially if it suits them and tells their story.

I have another custom tattoo I want to get. But it's a pricey one and every time I have that much money literally to spare, 'something' always comes up.

I remember a coworker who had a portrait tat of his daughter. I couldn't believe my eyes it was so good! This would be something I'd have a difficult time committing to though. But I think one of these of a person's young child is really very cool

I love the ear tattoo!  I saw a guy in a grocery store one time who had two little dolphins on his ear lobe and I wanted to get that so bad.  I talked to my tattoo guy about it and he said he never did ears because they bleed so much and it's really hard to get the art done on them . . . oh well.  I don't need anymore anyway.
