We have talked of this before and lately two events have happened to me. First, I watch the original Star Trek: The Motion Picture then I saw news of the Voyager 1 passing beyond the solar winds into interstellar space. Second thing was, I was in the bookstore browsing when I came across Nietzsche's Thus Spoke Zarathustra which I had just finished reading and the curious thing was, the cover picture was the one I have as my avatar on my profile, oh well. Any strange synchronicities hapenning to any of you?

quick question. are these synchonicities seen as random coincidents, or....*whispers* divinely inspired?...

I am not sure of any meaning to these events that somehow have a connection. I suppose these things can be interpreted by the perception of the receiver. In my case, I just see a strangeness and will wait to see if there are any further sychronicities with them or any possible meanings. When I met my gf we found so many they drew us closer togetrher and we found more and more as our relationship developed.

I seem to average a couple a month, although it is more likely my imagination than anything supernatural. My most recent was I was reading through Isaiah 3:16-4:1 talking about God's wrath against Israeli women and that week I heard about a story where this basically came true. The story is some friends were at Lake Powell and a beautiful girl decided to go naked, quickly everyone was naked for this three day weekend. Well a guy started ranting about how he needed to sleep with this girl. She was legitimately concerned about being raped, and she had to hide behind my friend (a married and faithful man). The truly sad news is that some time after the trip she committed suicide.

Also, on Thus Spoke Zarathustra Gaylan, you need to realize that book is based on a faulty premise. Why was Zarathustra sad for creating the lie known as god? Zarathustra didn't do anything wrong if there is no god. He has no reason to be sad.

It is really sad that she took her life. Have you read Thus Spoke Zarathustra, Argan?
