 OFFLINE | Hi there,
satisfied so far with my new Rider - let's hope that at some point installing OSM maps will really be possible as promised (see my other post and the official answer).
One thing remains unclear though: I have the map grid and different info grids activated, by pressing the mode button I can only toggle through the map and the first info grid.
Am I missing something here or is this a bug?
Further infos on versions and stuff of my Rider:
Firmware: R20.0
Device AP: GH1.3.1.48
App Launcher: 3.0.0.0
By the way: good response times here on the forum - I really have the impression they're doing their job.
Good sign... |

 OFFLINE | Hi, Andy,
Please go to Settings-->Grid Display-->then set and turn on the info Grid (info Grid, info Grid2, info Grid3) you wish. After that, when you press "mode" button, you shall see the info grid you set. Hope this help! |

 OFFLINE | Hi there,
thanks for the fast reply, I think you are doing a good job answering questions rather fast.
I already checked the settings, did it again.
There definately is a bug on the SW on my device - switching all the grids on stills enables me to toggle the map and the first info screen only.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Andy |

OFFLINE | You have to start a recording or a ride out find and go before you can see al the grids.
Sadly the user manual is very incomplete about the working of the device. Bryton had to do a lot of work at the manual to make it useful.

OFFLINE | You need to change info Grid2 and info Grid3 to "on" as default settings for them are "off". |

Doesn't make any sense to me and I am pretty sure I had the other grids activated while in a ride and was trying to toggle through the grids - and only map and the first info grid showed up. So sorry, but that's not it I'm afraid...
Any official comments by Brytonsport? |

Sorry, but I'll have to ask this: have you read any of my posts in this threat? |

I am certain I helped solved this issue on the community forum few weeks back.
What can recall was resetting the unit either on the unit itself or when connected to BB2 make sure you back up before doing this as dont want get blamed for loss of data.

 OFFLINE | Bingo, problem solved.
I read what you're mentioning in the old forum yesterday but didn't have the time to try until now.
So a restore worked, even after resynching my profile switching through grids is working.
Thanks for your help! |
