One of our member URA DHURA MAN has posted a topic " Support and resistance level of stock market" . You can go through it.

http://apps.facebook.com/facebook_forums/support_and_resistance_level_of_stock_market-6086.html

Support and Resistance line can be drawn for each stock.

Beta Co-efficient is used to compare whether the price of a stock is rising with the market trend. If the value is near 1, it means that the price movement follows the market trend. If it is greater than 2, it means it is rising whatever the market trend is, conversely, if it is less than -2, it means the price of the stock falls and does not follow the market trend.

TA is good for both short and long term, but is very much useful for short term, FA for considering Long Term.
