OFFLINE | A good designer is one who can create great web designs after the latest trends have passed. If in doubt you can always go back to basics and learning the basics at the beginning. Here are some steps to take that can help you become a better designer. This may remind you of some things we've taken for granted and forgotten.
1. Trends Keeping up with the latest trends is important, but "trends" does not mean "copy". Get inspiration based on these and create your own style.
2. Learning and Development Great designers are always learning and remain cool in the latest fashion.
3. Think of the role The sketches will become your best friend, even if you are in the early design stage or are giving thought ideas. Away from the computer and works on paper that gives less distraction.
4. BlankSometimes less is more. Do not saturate your designs, readability is key to the success of a website.Minimum or simplistic does not mean boring.
5. Applications Keep up with new applications and programs that may offer new options for web design.
6. Lee There are some magazines, even online, that are especially for graphic designers, these can really help when creating a web design.
7. Know your audience Just because your design you like, does not mean that the client will like. You have to look at the age group and the target audience you want to reach, all these things are very important and you must take additional steps to do not forget this.
8. Ask opinions of others You can show your design and ask for advice from your best friend or a trusted friend. They can point out the problems or errors that you find insurance and had not noticed.
9. Build a "toolbox" in a hard drive Store all your old papers, code, etc.. Organize by type of work (eg, CSS, Flash, Vectors, Forms). When searching for something while working on a project is much easier when this organized, this will save more time.
10.Competition Check out what other designers are doing. Be aware of what is happening in your industry. |
