Statesboro Magazine seeks a qualified candidate for a one-semester internship, three hour internship for Spring Semester. This intern will learn the inner-workings of a magazine while gaining experience with magazine writing. Candidates should familiarize themselves with the magazine: http://www.statesboromagazine.com/
Responsibilities of this intern may include, but will not be limited to, the following:
1. Editing, proofreading, or fact checking
2. Drafting articles
3. Conducting writing-related research
4. Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with exceptional writing skills and a keen awareness of audience. Applicants should be deadline-driven and detail-oriented, with an eye for proofreading and editing. This individual will have strong organizational skills and must be able to work well independently as well as part of a team
Credit Hours:
This is an unpaid internship; however, the selected candidate may receive up to three (3) hours of credit (WRIT 4790) in each semester of the internship. Work schedule will be coordinated with the internship supervisor.
