ok, instead of our tamers turning into digimon, lets look at it with the setup that we have, with partner digimon.
Strabimon > Lobomon > KendoGarurumon > Beowolfmon > (Burst Mode) MagnaGarurumon > (Jogress) Susanoomon (with Emperorgreymon)
Flamemon > Agunimon > BurningGreymon > Aldamon > (Burst Mode) EmperorGreymon > (Jogress) Susanoomon (with MagnaGarurumon)
Kazemon (no rookie) > Zephyrmon > JetSilphymon
Beetlemon > MetalKabuterimon > RhinoKabuterimon
Kumamon > Korikakumon > Daipenmon
there would also have to be 2 lines of the spirit of darkness, a duskmon line, and a loweemon line.
one way all of this could be done is to have the human and beast spirits available on cash shop, but you have to have the human spirit to access the beast spirit, and you would need either evolutors or another item (upgraded digivice?) to combine them into the fusion form. either that, or they could make rookies for the ones that don't have them, and megas for the ones that don't have megas ( Arbormon, Ranamon, etc.) and have them be normal mercs.
