OFFLINE | Hi, loving the forum
I live near Bristol airport, i've got an 8 year old dutch mare called Willow AKA The Fat Haf!
She's my first horse and i can't see me ever having anything but Hafs now. Willow was unaware that haflingers have 'a naturally balanced and uphill canter' (thank you Wikipedia) when i first got her but is coming on beatifully now she's jumping.

 OFFLINE | Hi
I live in Plymouth and have 4 horses, Copper ( Trecarric Asprey) has owned me since he was 6 months old, and has lived with me for 14 years now, he lives on a hill on Dartmoor with his 3 friends on 9 acres of far too much grass and lives out 24/7 Although I do not show Copper I have attended about 10 annual breed shows with my trusty hound Duskie Dawg! |

OFFLINE | I'm Jan & I live in Gloucestershire with 1 Haflinger called Arnie aka The Fat Pony (Look him up on Facebook!) and 2 Shetlands. I've had Arnie over 10 years now since he was 2 and he is what I'd call a good all rounder! We are 15 mins drive or 40 mins hack from Badminton so come and visit with or without ponies! |

OFFLINE | Hello im Sarah i live in Saltash which is a little town across the Tamar bridge from Plymouth. I have a 7yr old haffy mare called Lilly she is unregistered which is a real shame as she is such a good example of the breed and has done extremely well in her first year of showing. She was imported from romania to this country in very poor condition to a dealer where she was intended for meat . She was bought by her previous owner and raced around by a young girl whom also treated her very badly.I then bought her i have had to take her back to scratch with everything but she is now up to weight, very happy, healthy and doing well.Lilly is such a loving pony and always willing to please i cannot imagine being without her now or ever owning another breed of horse again |
................ Does anyone know of any shows that do classes for unregistered haffies? :)

 OFFLINE | Hey!
I'm Stacy and I'm from the Forest of Dean and between myself and my Mum (I've pointed her in this direction too!) we have 2 Haflingers. Wally (Walter van der Haflingerstalle est van der casteele) and Copper (Copper Mountain) We've had Wally for 3.5 years and although he's a terror we love him to bits! As for Copper, he's the total opposite to Wally, so laid back that he'll fall over soon! We've had him about 3 months.
We also have 2 mini shetlands known as Tinker and Tom (**** Bag and Little Bugger!)
We are members of the local riding club taking part in training sessions and the odd team competition. If we attend local shows together we attract alot of attention!
I look forward to talking to you all! |
