Hi I am Helen Slaughter (most people already know me) I have a pretty Austrian bred Mare called Biena. She was backed at 7yrs and is now 10.  A small Haffie who has a big jump , kind heart and a big spirt!! She Is a mum to 2 in her own right , but is yard nannie to 13 horses and the only pony on the yard but is very, very content !  I am a very proud of her she has  had a good year. We both love x counrty and she squeals with excitement into the jumps (it is very funny).  I excercise long legs horses at the yard and when i was younger used to ride point to pointers and race horses but my kind but spirted little haff is the light of my life.

I'm Paula and we own a 6 year old gelding calling Tao.

He is our first horse, and it was never planned to have him - we were sharing two ponies for my daughters at a yard and we immediately fell for him, he was for sale but we were advised he certainly wouldnt be the horse for us as he was still so young and green.  Well he chose us!!  And at beginning of July he became ours.

He is absolutely gorgeous and we wouldnt be without him.  He has given me so much confidence and I love hacking him out.  My 9 year old has jumped him quite happily in the school, and my 11 year old (who does have some problems) hacks him out happily with me on foot.  He seems to adjust beautifully to whoever is riding him, and gives my eldest no problems at all.
