Barb my son is not in Plt. 3247 he is in Plt 2166 but I can still be here for you to offer you support and encouragement!!! To me it doesn't matter what the graduation date is or the Plt. we are here to help and listen!!!!! At least that is the way I see it!!!! How is your son doing? Have you received lots of letters etc from him yet?? Lets see we are at Day 19 of 13 Weeks for us......I have received 4 letters from my son and he appears to be adjusting well to Boot Camp.....His letters have all been positive thus far....today I did receive a letter tho that stated he was in Medical waiting to get his Wisdom Teeth pulled and that he was going to be getting "porthole"...AKA Glasses.....That shoked me about the glasses....LOL.....I can only assume that he had written that letter at the earlier part of this week?? As he doesn't date his letters...But I heard that they have no way of knowing what day it is.....I hope that YOU are doing ok and that your son is doing well also!!!!!!! Good Luck Plt. 3247 and Plt. 2166!!! Ooorraahhh!!~

Hi Barb! My brother is in this platoon. I am excited that there graduation is in 2 more days! I am a little confused though about the 10 day leave. I will not be able to attend his graduation, so my brother asked us to pick him up from the airport. Only trouble is he didn't write to me with the landing time?? Have you been able to figure out how the guys are going to be getting home after graduation? Is there a place that I can look at that information? Any information helps! Thanks!!

Hey there Tiffany!!! Congratualtions on your brothers graduation in a few more days!!!!! I am envious!!!! I still have 5 more weeks until my son graduates!!!! If noone is going to be there for him after graduation and he has made his own flight plans hopefully he will be contacting you very soon with the information so that you know what time his flight lands.....there is no "public" place to see what their arrangements are, but if you haven't heard from your brother maybe try to contact his SDI via email......his name and email address should be in the FORM Letter that you received at the begining of Boot Camp.......that way there maybe he can ask your brother directly and get back to you with the information!!! Your brothers 10 days officially starts on Saturday......although he may be leaving on Friday the count is from Saturday and he has to be back to wherever he is reporting to on a Tuesday......(10 days from the Saturday after graduation) Your brother should have and know all of that prior to leavcing BC!!! hi Tiffany- any time i have had any questions I have contacted my sons recruiter and he has been able to get the info i need.. other wise on family day i know they can call home.. so hopefully you get a phone call

Thanks Apryl and Barb! He did call and he is now home! We were able to figure out flight times and everything to meet him there.
