Hi Suze,
I know you say wait til I'm 70 to take SS but I did the math and the total is:

Collect at 66 yro for 20 years = $331,200.
Collect at 70 yro for 16 years = $351,360.

I am 65 now and still self employed. I thought when you say wait til your 70 that the amount would be much more. Should I still wait?  I do fund my Roth IRA and thought taking the SS and investing it may end up with more $$$.

Also, can a self employed person take SS at 66 and keep income from my business without giving up more money for taxes?

Thanks for your help,
Betsy
