I know I am not the only single mom in the lcv. I am recently single as of february divorced as of august and I am still having a hard time adjusting. I moved back to lewiston from boise. I have two wonderful children and work full time. Any suggestions on how to juggle work, cleaning, after school activities, helping with home work, cleaning, ext.

I am not a single mommy anymore, but the first 2 years of my son's life I was. Never forget to take some "You" time. Find someone who can babysit once a week or whenever you just need a break, that space is needed to destress. Children pick up on the stress and tend to act up when mom is stressed. Find a friend that can come over and "help" clean if you feel overwhelmed, but don't stress about a messy house. Its nice to just have someone come over and visit while you deep clean your house. Have your kids help out with stuff without over working them on chores. It will help them learn some responsibility. I still work full time and am taking care of my son mostly by myself due to conflicting work schedules and I find it hard to destress without the little breaks I get occasionally. You are not alone, I often felt like I was, but then I connected with the moms group and found lots of mommas out there that were doing it alone. Use all the support you can get!
