OFFLINE | To chime in, I'd go with Megadeth. Granted both bands are as sterile and devoid of any machismo as a eunuch but during the earlier days Megadeth had a much more ominous, darker sound. To me, Dave Mustaine was perhaps what D'ianno was to Maiden.. the balls behind the sound. |

If memory serves me correct here Tom, you're another one to ask this: have you heard anything about their new album? I found a video (made a thread on MySpace...wrong **** forum I guess) with them working on new **** in '09. I haven't found anything about it, have you? |

Not that I'm aware of. Haven't been listening to much thrash in the past year so I haven't been actively searching for any news on the subject or anything related. Wish they would though. It would probably be mean and aggressive as ****. |
