OFFLINE | I have just a basic Red Dot sight that I rarely use as it takes far too much time to try and aim. Practice enough and you will be able to just point the marker and shoot your target without having to sight the target as you become familiar with your markers and where it shoots. |

OFFLINE | I use a basic red dot on my alpha black, and an 551 Eotech replica sight on my X7 phenom. Both work great, but tend to be useless at close range. Also if your using a marker with a rail you might want to get a riser so that your marker won't have to touch the gun when your aiming. For example, on my alpha black there is a carry handle so I just put an M-16 carry handle mount on (Which is just drilling a hole through the carry handle) and have my sight on that. So you don't need a riser for something like that. But the X7, Its on the gun, and the gun itself will get in the way of your mask making it uncomfortable to aim. But ya I definetly prefer red dots over magnified sights. You can keep both eyes open at all times. |
