Handsome hero Siddharth, who is going to be back with the film 180 will soon be seen in acclaimed NRI director, Deepa Mehta’s film ‘Midnight’s Children’. The film is an adaptation of the book of the same name by renowned writer Salman Rushdie.

In the film Siddharth plays the role of Shiva. The film features Siddharth a new avatar. Deepa Mehta was all praises for the actor after witnessing his performance.

Siddharth’s Bollywood career took a downslide after his last film ‘Striker’ tanked at the BO, hence the actor is upbeat about this project which will see him getting exposed to international audiences.

The film which started on February 5th has completed its shoot with in a span of three months spreading across 64 locations and with a huge cast.

Other cast of the film includes Anupam Kher, Shabana Azmi, Seema Biswas, and Satya Bhaba etc. The film’s language will be English, Urdu and Hindi. Deepa is in plans to release the film in spring 2012.

So, Siddharth is trying his luck in both Tamil and Hindi for one more time. Need to wait and see how 180 fares at the box office.
