Southern Stud Siddharth is currently engaged in the promotional activities of his forthcoming film 180, which is set for a release on 25th June in both Telugu and Tamil versions.

Besides this, the talented actor is in plans to wield the megaphone for films and the interesting fact is he will also produce those films. Siddharth may also produce the films of the other directors. Before turning as an actor Siddharth worked as an associate to ace director Mani Ratnam and learnt direction skills.

Siddharth is currently acting in the movie Oh My Friend pairing with Shruti Haasan, which is Dil Raju’s production venture. A debutant Venu Sri Ram is directing the film

Siddharth to launch production house

Lover boy Siddharth came to the film industry with a desire to become a director! So he joined ace Mani Ratnam as an assistant director. Later, Mani Ratnam suggested that he should try acting and consequently, he debuted as a hero with Boys. With the immense success of Boys in Tamil and Telugu, Siddharth became one of the busiest heroes in the South.

Siddharth kept aside his dream of become a director for a long time, but he now feels this is the right time to make things happen! According to sources, Siddharth will very soon launch his own production house and will step in film direction under his home banner. Siddharth also has plans to produce films under the direction of leading film makers and debutants in the South, it is heard.

Lover boy Siddarth future plans

Tollywood lover boy Siddarth had no other hits after his Bommarillu movie. Ever since, he is desperately looking for a break in his career, but in vain. However, he always manages to be busy with one film or the other. Siddarth who worked as Associate to director Mani Ratnam has gained some experience in film direction. Since, he doesn’t find his acting profession any encouraging, he is planning to return to his direction department, if both his upcoming films ‘180’ and ‘Oh! My Friend’ fails at box office. According to Kollywood sources, he is also planning to try his hand in film production. Let us hope he won’t be disappointed with his upcoming movies and change his profession.
