Siddharth Narayan’s Family – His Parents



Siddharth Narayan is better known mononymously as Siddharth was born in Tamil Nadu to parents – Mr. and Mrs. Suryanarayan on 17th April 1979. He was better known as ‘Sidy’ back in his school and college days and has studied in Chennai and Delhi. He was a part of the popular theatre group called ‘The Players’ and also the president of the debating society in his college.

Siddharth Narayan’s Family – His Siblings

He is a graduate with a MBA from the SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. He has two siblings, a brother-Jayendra and sister-Sandhya, who has done her PhD and is a research assistant. He took up acting and made his debut in the Tamil movie, Boys (2003), which eventually turned out to be a big hit.



Siddharth Narayan’s Family – His Ex Wife

The same year, Siddharth married Meghna, his childhood sweetheart, with whom he had grown up in New Delhi. After his debut in Tamil, Siddharth went on to act in many other super hit movies. In 2006, He made his debut in Bollywood with the movie, Rang De Basanti (2006) alongside other popular actors like Aamir Khan and Madhavan. After differences cropped up between his wife, Meghna and him, Siddharth filed for a divorce from her. After his divorce, it was reported that Siddharth was dating his Rang De Basanti costar, Soha Ali Khan. But he didn’t confirm it. For his performance in Rang De Basanti, he won the Star Screen award for the best debut, male.

Siddharth is known as ‘The Aamir Khan of the South’ because of his approach of doing only one film per year.
