Everyone and anyone who would like is invited to join in a big Swap Meet. Bring any gear you’d like to trade for other gear, and bring money if you are willing to buy. There is no formal auction or structure. We will meet, and we will engage in pleasant trading and selling among friends! The trading will take place on the North side of the river at Edworthy Park AND A RACE TO FOLLOW.
Once we all get done trading we will embark on a beginner friendly race only a two minute skate away! Details regarding that portion of the event will come shortly. For those nervous about participating, it will take place on a pathway and speeds aren’t extreme! Tell your friends and share this event around! Prizes too! Helmets and gloves are mandatory, participate at your own risk! Entry will be by donation with proceeds going to the Speedboard and Longboard Association of Calgary (SLAC). They are the reason Calgary has a longboard community today so be sure to donate.
This event will not work if all that come are only looking to sell. If all come to only sell, then nothing will be exchanged. Come with some cash in hand, and an open mind for trading!
Get the chance to meet and trade with some high caliber sponsored riders in Calgary:
Elena Corrigall – Royal Board Shop, Landyachtz Longboards, Bear Trucks, Hawgs Wheels
Brandon Bean – Valhalla Longboards, Silvagrip, Calgaryskate, Red Nik
Paul Kent – Orantatang Wheels, Rayne Longboards, Aera Trucks, Royal Board Shop
Riley Harris – Royal Board Shop, Landyachtz Longboards, Bear Trucks, Hawgs Wheels, Calgaryskate
Jonathon Douglas – Orangatang Wheels, Nelson Longboards, Red Nik
And others!
THIS IS WEATHER PERMITTING. We all know what the weather can be like in Calgary, so if it’s raining or snowing the event will be postponed.

Don't worry Jojo, I'll be there.  There's a grom I may be bringing but want to know if it's above his skill/comfort level.
