I compiled this from a bunch of resources and research I did and I reviewed it with my surgeon/midwife beforehand. Even if you're not anticipating having a cesarean birth, it will only benefit you to be prepared for all outcomes. No matter how you give birth, you,'ll want to have some say on what happens to you and your baby. I was allowed a doula, my i-pod playing, an immediate kiss after baby girl was born, daddy cutting the cord, and skin-to-skin contact with my sweet one within minutes. I was also breastfeeding as I was being rolled out of the OR. It was an amazing, beautiful birthing day and I hope this helps you with your birth plan and one of the most memorable days of your life, no matter how you give birth. Blessings to all of you~
