I don't know if I'm alone in this but when I had an office job, I got programmed to drive there.

So, sometimes I'll be headed somewhere ... like to the store ... and will start thinking about something.  And after a while, I'll realize that I'm not headed to the store after all.

Instead I'd be on my way to work.
